John Raukar

An educator with over 40 years experience in teaching and administration, Mr. Raukar began his "second career" as a chemical dependency counselor and clinic director in the 1980s. Blending his education experience with his substance abuse counseling, he created Addictive Behavior Counseling and crafted it's award-winning training programs for teachers and administrators in the 1990s. Since then, over 5000 educators, healthcare professionals, members of law enforcement, parents and students have participated in Mr. Raukar's hard-hitting, informative and moving training sessions.




Detective Howard Manwaring

An investigator with 17+ years of experience, retired Dectective Howard Manwaring spent his career specializing in child related law enforcement. Through his tireless work with juvenile offenders and as part of a gang task force, Detective Manwaring has become an expert on the effects of drugs, alcohol, gangs and violence on children. Since teaming up with ABC, he brings his brutally honest presentations to attendees up close and personal, sharing his experiences with youth addiction, gangs and the crimes committed as a result.




Judge Dan McDougall

With over 30 years in the legal profession, retired Judge Dan McDougall has seen the oft times violent result of substance abuse and addictive behavior. He presided over juvenile and Child Abuse and Neglects cases, Domestic Relation and Criminal cases, as well as the DUI Drug Court. Judge McDougall's presentations lead you first hand through the legal ramifications and consequences of addictive behavior.
